A course grade less than <80%.

Remediation in the didactic year occurs during the term or break between terms. If the term has ended, the student will receive a grade of (I) incomplete. If the course is remediated successfully, then the grade will be changed from an (I) incomplete to a grade of a B. In the clinical terms, Supervised Clinical Practice Experiences (SCPE) can be remediated in the SOAR course in the same term or during the break between terms. If the term has ended, the student will receive a grade of (I) incomplete until remediated. If the SCPE areas are remediated, the grade will be changed to the remediated grade. A successful remediation will result in a grade B or Pass as the final course grade as applicable. Failure to successfully earn >80% on the remediation assessment will result in a failing grade. Failure to fulfill all the terms of a remediation plan will result in dismissal from the PA program. Dismissal decisions from the PA program are not appealable. Student progress and remediation will be monitored by the course director and the PA Curriculum Committee. Requirements for Graduation from the NLU PA Program The Student Progress Committee will make a recommendation for each student to graduate from the PA Program at NLU and earn a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (M.S.P.A.S.) degree if all of the following requirements are met: 1.
