Clinical Year Handbook Final

The Program maintains appropriate documentation of formal grievances and appeals consistent with NLU record-retention requirements, including the original complaint or appeal, supporting documentation, correspondence, investigation materials, meeting notes, decisions, appeals, final determinations, interim measures, resolution documentation, and evidence of communication to the student. Student records are maintained consistent with FERPA and NLU records policies. XXVIII. XXX. Student Responsibilities Students are responsible for reviewing applicable Program and University policies, raising concerns promptly, providing accurate information, meeting applicable deadlines, maintaining professionalism, preserving relevant documentation, participating honestly in investigations, maintaining confidentiality regarding other students and patient information, following clinical-site requirements, and cooperating with resolution processes.
