Total Cost: Total cost is cost per SH times number of SH to complete. This is the rack rate of tuition and does not include student, book, or other fees, and is an estimate. Total cost will vary by each individual student’s transfer credit and classes taken per term. Tuition rates subject to change. Rates are determined each spring and are effective beginning each summer term. National Louis University (NLU) is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), one of six accreditors recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. The Illinois School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Psychological Association (APA). NLU’s M.S. Counseling program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP), the organization that accredits professional counseling programs.
Funding Resources
Graduate Assistantship Program: As part of our commitment to providing quality, affordable education, National Louis University offers a Graduate Assistantship Program. Graduate Assistant positions are available to graduate students to help finance their education. In exchange for working, graduate assistants receive a credit on their student account towards their tuition and fee charges. If accepted into the Graduate Assistant program, students may remain in the program until all of their degree requirements have been met. Alumni Scholarship: This scholarship will offer NLU alumni (and Kendall alumni with a bachelor’s degree) who enroll in an additional NLU degree program after graduation from the University a 15% tuition discount off of their tuition. NLU Scholarships & Other Resources: There are many scholarships available from government agencies, nonprofit organizations, private foundations, corporations and more. These scholarships are not affiliated with National Louis University and have their own application and eligibility requirements.
