Inclement Weather School of Nursing personnel always monitors the weather closely. In case of inclement weather, watch the university website or register for the university text messaging service for updates on campus closings. Clinical sessions are cancelled/ended early when the university closes/is closed. If a clinical is to be cancelled, students will be notified via email and text by their clinical faculty. It is the student’s responsibility to check their phone and email prior to leaving for the clinical experience if there is inclement weather. Students should NOT reach out to the clinical faculty the night before as the decision to cancel clinical will likely be made during the early hours of the morning. 7.
