CCNE Third Party Comments Notice

NCE’s 2023-2024 fiscal year, illustrating how the College is following through with our commitment to the betterment of education on both a local and national level.

Dear NLU Faculty & Staff Community,

The School of Nursing at NLU will be hosting an on-site accreditation evaluation of the baccalaureate degree program by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) in February 2026. Consistent with the accreditation process, there is an opportunity for program constituents and other interested parties within the NLU community to submit third-party comments concerning the program’s qualifications for accreditation. This email is being sent to you as notification of that opportunity, should you wish to submit written third-party comments.

All third–party comments submitted to CCNE must be written in English, consistent with CCNE’s policy on Conduct of Business in English.

Direct all comments to: thirdpartycomments@ccneaccreditation.org

CCNE shares third–party comments with members of the evaluation team prior to the visit, but at no time during the review process are these comments shared with the program. During its review of the program, the evaluation team considers third–party comments related to the accreditation standards.

Third-party comments are due to CCNE no later than January 21, 2026.

Any questions pertaining to this communication should be directed to Dr. Laura Robbins-Frank, Founding Executive Director of Nursing, lrobbins1@nl.edu .
