Description

ILTS # 305 Content Test

A score of 220* and verification of the score is required prior to Practicum II RLP 551; MHE 540; SCE 540; CIS 540

Multiple Choice

* A passing score of 240 is required for licensure Content Assessment Plan

Building Classroom Community Teacher Preparation Lesson Plan

ELE 597 or ELE 590

(Course Instructor will outline)

ELE 587/597 or ELE 500/510

Performance Assessment to create a lesson plan that addresses standards, learning goals, lesson sequence, formative assessment, and assistive and instructional technology. The assessment includes brainstorm on the opening, instructional delivery and closing of the lesson . Evaluation by faculty to determine attitudes and beliefs that are needed to be a successful teacher in the field. These include: • Honesty and Integrity • Responsibility for Meeting Course and Field Requirements • Reflection and Accepting Feedback Collaboration and Communication • Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Respect for Self and others Performance evaluation completed by the mentor teacher and the university supervisor during the student teaching experience

Dispositions Assessment

ELE 500 and ELE 510 and ELE 590 and one methods class (SCE 540 or MHE 540)

Established Level/rating & GPA of 2.5 or higher
