Timeline to Completion Teacher candidates have six years from the time of the first course taken towards the MAT degree to complete the degree. Candidates who exceed this time frame will need to apply to the Academic Policies Committee for an extension of the timeline. In addition, candidates will be responsible for any new or updated requirements of the MAT program.
