Notes ● Seat reservation deposit. The PA program requires a $1,000 deposit due on acceptance, which is applied to the first-term tuition bill; it is not an added cost. ● Student fee: Per the NLU fee schedule, the $275 student fee applies to full-time enrollment (6+ semester hours). ● CTA U-Pass: Information on NLU’s U-Pass Program is located here. ● Out-of-state rotation housing. Applies only to students placed at SCPE sites outside the Chicago area: $2,000–$4,500 per 5-week rotation, up to $18,000 for four rotations, possibly in addition to primary housing. Planning estimate based on typical weekly extended-stay and short-term rental rates. ● Health insurance. Students have the option of enrolling in NLU’s Student Health Plan. Students under 26 who stay on a parent’s plan, or who qualify for tax credits or Medicaid, may pay less. ● Living costs are estimates for budgeting and financial aid cost of attendance; actual costs vary.
