Preparing our students to effectively begin or progress in their careers has been the mission of NLU since its founding. Our Career Bridge team ensures that graduates leave NLU with practical, real-world experience and valuable connections in their industry. Our work to increase resources for students took significant steps during the 2021-2022 academic year. In addition to adding two staff positions and building out a new interactive work space on the Chicago campus for workshops, in-person interviews and career fairs in our Career Bridge department, students benefited from: • Suit scholarships provided to 91 graduating seniors to acquire professional clothing; • Relationships with more than 100 new employers which led to internships or post-graduate employment; • Opportunities to participate in 18 career fairs which were attended by a total of 1150 students and 152 employers; and • Placement at more than 200 internship sites.
