Also, please describe or provide a link to program admissions policies that allow students to enter with credit for prior graduate work, and the expected implications for time to completion. Please indicate NA if not applicable:
The Illinois School of Professional Psychology was originally accredited by the APA in Februray 1985. The program transitioned to National Louis University in 2019 and became fully-accredited as ISPP at NLU on May 5, 2021. Students enrolled in this accredited program as of April 2019 or later - bringing transfer credit from their prior enrollment at Argosy University (per the APA teach-out approval). Thus, their degrees were completed in a much shorter time than usual. Students who were part of the Teach-Out and who graduated or withdrew (1) prior to the initial program accrediation date are not included on this table.
Students who enter the program with prior graduate studies (master's or doctoral degree), may apply for up to 30 credits hours of transfer credit. Certain courses and experiences (e.g. clinical training) are not eligible for transfer credit. The description of transfer credit policy is found here: https://nl.smartcatalogiq.com/en/2021-2022- official/undergraduate-and-graduate-catalog/college-of-psychology-and-behavioral-sciences-graduate/college-of-psychology-and-behavioral-sciences-graduate/academic-policies/
