Phillip Woods Executive Chef, Big Foot Country Club Board Member, NLU Alumni Association
Phillip Woods has spent the last 12 years in the private club sector, including seven years serving in a leadership role as Executive Chef. Prior to his culinary career, he held customer-facing leadership positions at Robert Half and Labor Ready in the staffing industry. Phillip has a proven track record of leading high-performing culinary teams with a leadership style rooted in mentorship and collaboration.
Across both the culinary and staffing sectors, his teams have consistently driven increased sales and customer satisfaction, while maintaining a strong focus on operational efficiency and worker safety. Outside of his professional life, Phillip is an avid fan of the Noir film genre and regularly attends film festivals. A passionate barbecue enthusiast, he enjoys crafting smoked meats with the precision and patience required for truly great low and slow barbecue. He also serves on the Alumni Board at National Louis University.
